How about the control? Like when you learn to play skateboard in the real world, the control of Skateboard Party 3 is also not entirely easy to memorize. First, to move, players can use virtual directional buttons on the left side of the screen. While all the action buttons, including jumps and three other trick buttons will be on the right side of the screen. Players can use these two virtual buttons to launch various trick combos at once.
Like when we try to play skateboarding actually, playing Skateboard Party 3 is not as easy as one might imagine. Indeed, all tricks can be done by just pressing the button but in reality, the virtual buttons on Skateboard Party 3 are still not as good as when using a physical controller. The problem is, some tricks require fast direction movements which are sometimes difficult to do with a virtual button.
Animations when players do tricks are good, but it looks like the development team is only focused on that particular part. Whereas other small details, such as when a player falls, does not care from any angle, the characters in the game will fall in the same position. Small details like this really have no effect on the game, but after playing for a while, I feel quite disturbed by the animation that looks less obvious repeatedly.
Music is one other thing that I think is less attention to certain parts, such as on the menu for example. Skateboard Party 3 will play a variety of song titles when the player acts on the map. But the music will not continue when the player switches to the main menu. So that when the player is on the main menu, you will listen to the same background music constantly, which I honestly think is quite boring to hear.
