Dead Trigger is not what I imagined, because in this game you will live the story through short missions. If you have ever played Contract Killer then you will soon be familiar with this game. What is quite frustrating is that you can run out of bullets in the game and there is nothing you can do but wait for the zombies to come and bite you to death.

Luckily the controls provided are very responsive and easy to play, even this is one of my favorite controls for fps games just like Shadowgun. But the absence of some action movements makes this game feel a little “fussy”. For example you cant sight aim like fps in general and you also cant run (This is a game about survival from zombies and we cant run?).

The strength of the game lies in the graphics and Dead Trigger does it perfectly. The environment is made smartly so that it gives a broad impression even though it is not that big. The details are well made with amazing effects. You can see if water splashed on the screen will create a wet impression. Framerate is also quite stable throughout the game even though zombies are scattered and this game never hangs when played. Overall this is one of the most powerful graphic games this year.

Unfortunately the picture alone is not enough, Dead Trigger has a gameplay that is too freemium even though the game itself is paid. The missions are also a bit boring and the story is only represented by text. If it wasnt for the excellent graphics, I would have given a value of 2. This limitation is further complicated by the gaming system which will require more gasoline according to the progress of my game.

This energy system also applies to upgrading facilities at headquarters as well as increasing the capabilities of members. I have to wait until one of the upgraded facilities is finished, then I can continue to other facilities. I can also only train one group member at a time, unless I have many training facilities.

This limitation is contrasted with the need to do grinding. Often games require that my group members reach a certain level before entering a mission. This requirement can be achieved by grinding, but it can take days to achieve that objective without sacrificing a gold currency.

All of this waiting time can be accelerated by using in-game currency in the form of gold. By exchanging a number of gold bars, the game will speed up the waiting process and I can immediately try to complete the next objective.
